Rose Care Journal

Printable PDF · 22 pages

Eight autumn rose jobs in the right order, the three to skip, and pages to record what your roses actually did.

Roses go into winter on what you did in the fall, and you only learn what worked in April. This journal keeps both ends of that story on paper.

It follows the order of our guide "October Rose Care: 8 Jobs in the Right Order": find your first killing frost, rake and check for rose rosette, water deeply, guard against voles, find the bud union, plan for potted and tree roses, and do nothing on purpose (no feeding, no deadheading, no early mounding). Then mound on the right day, watch the roses through winter, and open the mounds in stages.

Print it on US Letter, keep it in a binder, and compare your numbers next year.
